Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive content campaign playbook aligned with business goals.

- Create, edit, and optimize content for various platforms including website, blog, social media, and email campaigns.

- Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to gather insights for content creation.

- Manage the content calendar ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine content strategies.

- Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility.

- Analyze content performance metrics and generate reports to measure effectiveness.

- Stay updated with industry trends and content marketing best practices.


Deliverables:

- Develop content marketing strategy outlining objectives, target audiences, messaging, and distribution channels.

- Maintain detailed editorial calendar for content production, publication, and promotion activities.

- Produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content pieces including written, video, webinars, and infographics.

- Implement content distribution plan across various channels including social media, email newsletters, etc.

- Provide regular analytics and performance analysis reports according to KPIs.

- Manage creative asset creation through vendor agencies and in-house resources.


Must-Have Tools/Tech Stack

1. Content Management Systems (CMS): We currently use Shopify CMS, but we are

considering pivoting to HubSpot or Salesforce.

2. Email Marketing Platforms: Critical for creating, sending, and analyzing email

campaigns to nurture leads, engage with prospects, and deliver targeted content to

different segments of the audience. We currently use Klaviyo but may switch to HubSpot

or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

3. Social Media Management Platforms: Hootsuite or equivalent. Required for planning,

scheduling, and analyzing social media content across various channels to engage with

the audience and extend the reach of content marketing efforts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X,

Reddit, YouTube, etc).

4. CRM and Editorial Calendar Tools: Necessary for managing customer information,

tracking sales interactions, and content planning. Our CRM is Salesforce Sales Cloud.

For Marketing, we are considering HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

5. SEO Tools: Moz, SEMrush, Answer the Public, or similar, for SEO, market research and

guiding content strategy.

6. Analytics and Data Analysis Tools: Important for analyzing market trends, customer

feedback, and campaign performance. Once a CRM for marketing is implemented, it will

be our main data analysis tool. We also use other tools such as Google Analytics,

PostHog, and PowerBI for custom reporting.

7. Generative AI tools: ChatGPT, BingChat, VidyoAI, and InvideoAI for streamlined

content creation. 1-year experience in prompting and output editing is preferred.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in B2B content creation or strategy for a technology brand.
  3. Portfolio of published written and video content.
  4. Proven experience in developing comprehensive content marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  5. Strong collaboration skills.
  6. Proficiency in SEO best practices.


Nice-to-Have Tools/Tech Stack

1. Project Management Tools: to facilitate collaboration, manage content calendars, and

ensure timely delivery of content projects are beneficial for coordinating with internal

teams and external partners (ClickUp, Slack, Teams, or similar).

2. Customer Feedback Tools: Jotform and Typeform for external and internal research.

3. Design Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, and Figma, for creating and

editing visual content, including graphics and videos, to support storytelling across

different channels.

4. Content Assistance Tools: Plagiarism Checker, Grammarly or similar


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  2. Experience managing vendor agencies and in-house resources.
  3. Effective project management skills.
  4. Strong business acumen.
