Job Overview

VIZIO's Software Product Marketing division is on the lookout for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to spearhead comprehensive go-to-market strategies for product introductions and sustainable marketing initiatives aimed at fostering long-term consumer engagement.

As the voice of the consumer, Product Marketing collaborates closely with Product Management, Partner & Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Project Management, Engineering, and Data/Insights teams to craft compelling marketing narratives that drive consumer adoption and engagement. You will be pivotal in facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, conducting positioning exercises, performing consumer and market research, and developing creative solutions to ensure impactful product launches. Your role will involve optimizing current marketing projects while also pioneering innovative strategies to connect with our customers through the VIZIO operating system, showcasing how we integrate seamlessly into their entertainment experiences.

We thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek a candidate with a robust background in B2C product marketing, demonstrating a proven ability to translate technical products into accessible consumer narratives, manage end-to-end marketing strategies, and juggle multiple campaigns, projects, and stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Product Marketing to formulate go-to-market strategies and maintain ongoing engagement with VIZIO users throughout their customer journey.
  • Utilize all available channels to enhance product and content visibility, increase platform engagement, and foster user loyalty.
  • Analyze diverse data sources to deepen the understanding of VIZIO users, provide actionable recommendations for optimizations, and develop targeted audiences.
  • Work in close partnership with Growth, Creative, Product, Corporate Communications, and other cross-functional teams to devise comprehensive marketing plans that enhance both off-screen and on-screen engagement, reinforcing VIZIO's market presence.
  • Coordinate with Partner & Content Marketing to align on priorities and ensure that product launches are supported by an effective content strategy.
  • Optimize the marketing channel mix through rigorous testing and experimentation.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into consumer-friendly messaging and campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where data, technology, and consumer behavior are integral to daily operations.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong bias for action.
  • Excellent team player with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to interpret data from various sources, such as Tableau and Google Analytics, translating findings into actionable insights and strategic plans.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a successful track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring follow-through.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation Information

The minimum salary for this position is $102,000.00/year, with a maximum salary of $132,000.00/year. In addition to the base salary, the compensation package includes eligibility for an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive range of medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
