With over six decades of experience, they continue to revolutionize the field by integrating innovative optical systems into critical defense and aerospace applications.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are the following:
- Quality Assurance Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and systems.
- Inspection & Testing: Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure product quality. This includes setting up and maintaining optical testing equipment.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.

Profile
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following:
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving quality results.
- The ability to identify and report issues effectively.
- Experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate and complete quality records.
- Familiarity with quality control equipment and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and testing methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems (a plus).
- Prior supervisory experience (a plus).
