Senior IT Support Specialist

The position is full time In-Person Monday through Friday 8am-4pm on-site with potential for flexibility for the right candidate. Candidates must be local.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 Years of IT support, networking and systems administration.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud based applications (Azure, O365, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of Active Directory set up.
  • Virtual systems administration (such as VMWare)
  • Experience with Phone Systems a plus.
  • Experience with Security Systems a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts and permissions. Install applications, as necessary.
  • Research, purchase and configure hardware for new users.
  • Manage Help Desk system. Resolve, delegate or escalate issues, as necessary. Analyze data to come up with improvements to reduce number of tickets generated.
  • Update/patch applications, as necessary.
  • Work with Applications Manager, engineering, and outside vendors to execute IT Roadmap including new system integration and development.
