Arrowhead Freight LLC's unique 3PL has the team, experience, and drive to ship cargo for a wide array of industries with maximum confidence and minimum stress.  As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a client portfolio, aiming to provide cost-saving solutions while enhancing profitability. This role involves negotiating and selling to mid-level management, managing daily shipments, and uncovering growth opportunities within your client portfolio. Success in this role requires excellent customer service, the ability to meet sales metrics and KPIs, and a proactive approach to client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring cost savings and increased profitability.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Engage in sales and negotiation activities with mid-level management.
  • Shipment Management: Oversee the daily shipments of clients, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Proactive Communication: Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients, offering top-tier customer service.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within your client portfolio.
  • Sales Metrics: Consistently achieve Customer Sales Rep metrics and KPIs.
  • Pricing Negotiation: Negotiate pricing with existing and prospective clients.
  • Adaptability: Stay open to learning and adapting in a dynamic and evolving industry.
  • Deal Closing: Successfully close deals with prospective clients.
  • Multitasking and Communication: Think on your feet, multitask efficiently, and communicate effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain dynamic, long-lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and grow relationships with clients.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in logistics brokerage sales.
