Position Summary


The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition programs. Designs and implements base pay and incentive programs, equity plans, and benefits programs that reflect the organization's total rewards philosophy. Ensures programs are externally competitive, internally equitable, and legally compliant. Oversee job evaluation, market pricing, and benefits enrollment—research plans and providers to develop benefits programs that optimize costs and meet organizational goals.


Essential Functions


Compensation Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, career levels, incentive plans, and performance-based pay.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop and review job descriptions and ensure equitable compensation.
  • Oversee the annual salary review process and provide recommendations for adjustments.


Benefits Management:

  • Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other ancillary benefits.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with global benefits providers to secure competitive rates and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and assist them with benefits-related inquiries.


Payroll Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of payroll expenses.


Human Resources Support:

  • Partner with HR and management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Zinpro’s goals.
  • Provide guidance and support on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve overall employee experience.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data to measure the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives. Prepare reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Qualifications


Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 7 or more years of experience in compensation and benefits management, including payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully translating HR best practice knowledge into organizational impact in multiple HR disciplines, such as talent acquisition, total rewards, diversity, and employee engagement.
  • Partners and works effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and drive overall solutions while appropriately anticipating and managing issues and risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to adapt communication styles to communicate with employees from diverse backgrounds, functional areas, and levels of the organization. This also includes effectively communicating in one-on-one, small-group, and large-group settings.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Preferred:

  • 4 plus years’ experience in managing Human Resources roles.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • Experience with managing global benefit programs.
