Our client, a design-forward furniture company, is looking for a Marketing coordinator with strong Copywriting skills. This is a full-time direct hire role, onsite 5 days a week.
Are you a roll-up-your-sleeves person with some experience in marketing or sales? We want you The role supports all aspects of our marketing and strategic direction: supporting marketing, product development, and sales. Specifically, you will work with a team to:
Responsibilities:
• Apply your creativity and clear-minded communication skills to write original copy in friendly- but-professional “brand voice”,
• Conceptualize & Design graphics for use within our constellation of marketing touchpoints (e.g., brochures, website, newsletters, social media posts and various other digital/printed marketing tools), while also keeping in-line with our overarching visual style & “image”,
• Interpret project briefs into copywriting concepts and/or graphics storyboards to achieve project requirements,
• Collaborate with our team in planning our social media presence & posts… and then help to execute that plan
• Collaborate within a close-knit team (that you would become a part of) on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages),
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach and effectiveness,
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the industry,
• Play a key role in seeing projects through the whole creative lifecycle—from inception to deployment to results measurement,
• Drive brand consistency across all company communications and visuals,
• Develop concepts by hand or with various software programs, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout,
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system,
• Support the planning and logistics for several annual trade shows,
• Support messaging around product launches and sales updates,
• Support sales teams with training materials, videos, custom product demos, and the like
• Travel 3-4x a year
Qualifications:
• Ability to work independently & proactively
• Ability to work, collaborate, & thrive within a mutually supportive team environment
• Strong organizational & time-management skills
• Strong research skills
• Solid Communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel
• Experience with graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• 5 years or more of experience in:
o Email Campaigns (Mailchimp experience preferred, but not required),
o Content Marketing:
o Copywriting and Copy editing,
o Graphics Design software, including:
o Adobe Suite (Photoshop – In-Design – Illustrator),
o Social media campaigns across various platforms (specifically Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn)
