The VP of Finance/Controller will develop the client's financial strategy and support the organization's strategic goals. This role includes leadership and oversight of financial planning, debt financing, budget management, and inventory control, ensuring compliance with GAAP.



Key Responsibilities of the VP of Finance:

  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
  • Oversee daily Finance department operations
  • Manage and prepare all financial reports (weekly and monthly)
  • Prepare financial outlooks and forecasts
  • Provide financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary reporting requirements at all levels
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop long-term business plans
  • Set and achieve Finance departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate financial audits and implement improvements
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and quality
  • Set staff performance and development goals, conduct appraisals, and manage salary adjustments
  • Implement and upgrade policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process


Qualifications VP of Finance :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPA OR CMA REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of leadership in a similar role with manufacturing experience
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Proven problem-solving and change management skills
