Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Overview

As a Scrum Master, your primary responsibility is to maximize value delivery to the customer. You will play a critical role in guiding the team through the Scrum process, facilitating daily stand-ups, and ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles. Additionally, you will manage traditional project management tasks, such as scope definition, staffing, communication with stakeholders, budget oversight, and risk/issue management. You will also be involved in authoring user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure efficient communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Support Product Development: Collaborate with the product owner and development team to transform requirements into working software. Author user stories, define acceptance criteria, and track progress to meet sprint commitments.
  • Monitor and Report Progress: Continuously track the team's progress, identify issues, and work with the team to implement corrective actions. Ensure the timely delivery of project goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee project scope, schedule, resourcing, and financials. Manage communication with clients and partners, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality expectations are clearly defined and met by the team. Collaborate with the team to prioritize defect remediation, refactoring, and technical debt management.
  • Road Block Removal: Identify and remove any obstacles that may hinder the team's productivity. Focus on minimizing external disruptions and resolving internal conflicts to keep the team on track.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing feedback to enhance team performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and mediate conflicts effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Expertise: In-depth understanding of Agile principles, with hands-on experience in scoping, estimating, and delivering work within an Agile framework.

Experience:

  • Scrum Mastery: Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably with a background in network project management and network services.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple significant projects concurrently.
  • PPM Tools: Practical experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools and techniques to monitor and control project performance.

Certification:

  • Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) is required.
