Infrastructure Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to join our team at Insight Global. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating daily stand-ups and supporting the team in following the Scrum delivery process. You will also handle traditional project management duties, including scope definition, staffing, communication of status to clients and partners, budget oversight, and risk/issue management.
Key Responsibilities- Team Facilitation: Serve the team and product owner in turning requirements into working software.
- Progress Tracking: Track progress and help the team achieve their commitments. Progress is monitored daily, and problems are identified and addressed through corrective actions.
- Scope Management: Manage and report the status of scope, schedule, resourcing, and financials.
- Requirements Documentation: Extract and document requirements. Author user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Process Support: Ensure team members understand processes and support the team in following them.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team. Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, guarding against the accumulation of technical debt.
- Conflict Resolution: Work with technical team and product owner balancing the interests of both when issues arise. Remove impediments allowing the team to focus on engineering tasks.
- Meeting Facilitation: Guide project team meetings, including sprint pre/planning meetings, daily scrum, and sprint review meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospective discussions and support continuous improvement efforts.
- External Interference: Limit the external interference the team must deal with.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading a infrastructure/network team actively applying Scrum practices.
- Strong background supporting network-related projects.
- Routers & Switches.
- Datacenter Migrations.
- End of Life Devices, upgrade routers and switches.
- Mixed background of PM and Scrum Master preferred but this role is mostly focused on Scrum Master responsibilities.
- Certified Scrum Master.
- Experience with Jira & Confluence.
- Great communication and collaboration experience.
- Experience working in an enterprise-level environment.
$55/hour to $65/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
