Opportunity
The Account Executive is a dynamic and results-driven sales professional responsible for generating new business and forging strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. This "hunter" role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, presenting our solutions to potential clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships, possess a deep understanding of the sales process, and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and research potential clients within the retail fixtures and displays industry.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
2. Client Engagement
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
- Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
3. Sales Process Management
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, prospects, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
4. Market Analysis & Strategy
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on client needs and market insights.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales collateral to support business development efforts.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years experience in B2B sales and account management with a proven track record of winning new business; experience selling custom display solutions strongly preferred
- Sales "hunter" with proven track record for winning new accounts
- Experience in conducting product demos and warm calling
- Proficiency in negotiation and business development
