The Document Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing all the necessary organizational documents and records. Manages product lifecycle documentation through engineering and operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Document Control, including but not limited to:
  • Managing, processing, distribution, and implementation of engineering design data- change requests, changes, and new releases (ECRs and ECOs)
  • Processing changes and new releases of company procedures and documentation.
  • Utilizes the Product Line Management system (PLM) in managing, processing, distribution, and implementation of engineering change requests (ECRs and ECOs)
  • Support the Quality Management System documentation; FAI reports, Deviation, and Corrective Actions process.
  • Manage NPI documentation, checklists, and product test results.
  • Manage and monitor regulatory compliance requirements and certifications.
  • Offers recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and system.
  • Ensure the record retention policies of documents per organizational guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Product Line Management (PLM) systems
  • Knowledge of documentation part numbering and revision control
  • Windows Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills for training, collaboration, and reporting
  • San Jose Contractor (6+ months)
  • 4-6 Years experience in Document Control a must
