Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage and organize various documents and records within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all documents are accurately filed, indexed, and easily retrievable.
  • Oversee the document review and approval process, ensuring timely updates and distribution.
  • Administer and maintain the SolidWorks PDM system, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and enforce PDM workflows, standards, and best practices.
  • Train and support engineering staff on the use of SolidWorks PDM.
  • Continuously improve document control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and implement best practices for document control and management.
  • Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding document control policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Document Control.
  • Advanced level MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with engineering, architectural, and construction documents (i.e., maps, drawings, technical specifications, etc.).
  • Extensive experience with Solidworks PDM is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
