Confidential: Our client, a compassionate personal injury law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper position. They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to manage financial records, perform bank reconciliations, issue checks, maintain client files, and ensure seamless financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations, issue checks, and maintain client files.
- Manage some personal accounts payable for the managing attorney.
- Record income and expenses, and post them to respective accounts.
- Process payments and conduct daily banking activities.
- Generate various financial reports.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Update and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile general ledgers to maintain the trial balance.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of Quickbooks experience
- 2-3 years of office or bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and best practices
- Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy in work produced
- Effective communication skills and highly organized
- Ability to solve problems and multitask effectively
- Driven to continuously improve and learn
- Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
