We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Social Strategy to lead global social media initiatives and be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social strategies that align with the client's business objectives and enhance their online presence.


This is a hybrid role based in Dallas


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative social strategies for global clients ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and brand messaging.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic insights, performance reports, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media strategists, content creators, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of social media campaigns, including content planning, influencer partnerships, paid media strategies, and community management.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and keep clients ahead of the curve.
  • Drive creative ideation sessions to generate unique and engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiences (organic or paid media strategies)
  • Manage budgets for social media campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Work closely with other departments, including creative, digital, PR, and marketing teams, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution.
  • Adapt strategies to fit different regional markets, understanding cultural nuances and local trends to ensure global relevance and effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in social media strategy, with a proven track record of managing large-scale campaigns for global brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to develop innovative and engaging content ideas.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of global social media trends and the ability to adapt strategies to different cultural contexts.
