Key Responsibilities


UI Design and Implementation

  • Design and create visually appealing and functional user interfaces for our games, including menus, HUDs, icons, and other interactive elements.
  • Ensure UI designs are consistent with the cyber sci-fi theme and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure interfaces are user-friendly and intuitive.


Visual Design

  • Develop high-quality visual assets that reflect the cyber sci-fi aesthetic, including textures, patterns, and graphic elements.
  • Create concept art and mockups to visualize UI designs and iterate based on feedback.
  • Work closely with the art director to maintain a cohesive visual style throughout the game.


Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and other artists to ensure UI elements integrate seamlessly into the game.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to align on design goals and vision.


Technical Implementation

  • Use industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) to create and animate UI elements.
  • Implement UI assets into the game engine (e.g., Figma, Unreal Engine) and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Optimize UI assets for performance and ensure they function correctly across different platforms.


  • Research and Innovation:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in UI design and cyber sci-fi aesthetics.
  • Experiment with new tools and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct research to gather references and inspiration for UI designs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a UI artist or visual designer in the video game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing sci-fi designs.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma UE Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
