The Real Estate Project Coordinator will support the department in real estate, construction project management and facilities management activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Source and recommend new vendors, maintain vendor list.
  • Update subcontractor and portfolio insurance certificates.
  • Process invoices, credit card statements and expense reports. Verify costs are properly coded and allocated.
  • Create, organize, and maintain databases, updating and tracking critical dates and obligations
  • Assist in tracking and documenting department activity, project flow, and communication
  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues and repair requests, monitor work in progress to ensure timely reply or action, keep team members and clients informed of project status.
  • Work with contractors to obtain competitive bids on small projects and preventive maintenance programs, recommend award, obtain approval to award work, monitor contractor performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Effectively manage and prioritize simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Find opportunities for increased efficiencies and cost savings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience working in facilities management or the construction industry
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
  • Excellent planning, time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and persistent follow up
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on a variety of assignments and technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and construction documents preferred
