Job Title: Senior Manager, Trade Marketing

Reporting to: VP Trade Marketing, Events & Strategic Partnerships




The Senior Manager, Trade Marketing will be responsible for all shopper, channel and

trade marketing activities for the Lobos 1707 brand. This role is a critical partner to the

VP of Trade Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, facilitating integrated planning and

developing culturally relevant trade programs, tools and activities that connect the

Lobos 1707 brand strategies and activations through the line. The Senior Manager,

Trade Marketing plays a pivotal role in connecting our marketing and sales plans,

working closing with both marketing and sales teams. The Senior Manager, Trade

Marketing is responsible for the growth of and outcomes for key marketing executional

elements such as new product launches, agency management and integrated

marketing campaign launches.


This role will identify channel strategies and develop the right tools for each channel

identified as a key business driver. The role will create selling tools, and drive

optimization of on and off premise programming and tools, to develop attainable volume

and trade forecasts resulting in an excellent customer and consumer experience. The

role requires a person who is an analytical, detail-oriented, strategic thinker who is

execution orientated and inspired to influence business results through developing and

delivering on go to market strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, innovate, and manage go to market sales and trade strategy focusing

on Consumer, Category, Competitor, Company, Distributor and Customer

objectives.

● Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance to

commercialize new products and drive revenue.

● Drive brand initiatives, merchandising strategies, and distribution priorities for

Sales Team.

● Drive the field sales execution of new product launches and existing product

reviews, support daily sales. team imperatives, and overall customer strategy

and performance.

● Develop, manage, and optimize promotional plan for all trade related activities.

● Identify opportunities with qualitative and quantitative data, drive concept to

commercialization.

● Develop a strong rapport to enable seamless collaboration with various cross-

functional teams, get a thorough understanding of the various functions and how

they intersect.

● Assist with special projects as needed.


Qualifications/Job Requirements

● 6-8 years of experience in trade, shopper or retail marketing; experience in spirits

industry preferred.

● Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.

● Self-starter with ability to work independently – high sense of urgency and

entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to deliver results.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based

on sound business judgment.

● Willing and able to handle both executional and strategic tasks and to seamlessly

transition between the two as the job demands.

● Able to manage through ambiguity within a matrix, start up organization and to

partner with cross-functional teams.

● Executive presence; strong and effective communication skills, including the

ability to engage and collaborate with multiple levels across multiple and varied

topics.

● Exceptional organizational, project & time management skills

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with excellent PowerPoint skills.
