Responsibilities:

  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Establish and maintain a database of qualified leads obtained through emails, direct mails, telephone interactions, referrals, cold calls, and networking.
  • Research prospects and creatively identify ways to develop relationships. Cultivate and qualify new leads and nurture through the sales funnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships to ensure satisfaction and assess needs to upsell services. Respond to requests for product information and pricing.

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience with the coordination and onboarding of service clients
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Outside sales experience with UKG, Evolution, or other payroll systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to close sales and reach sales goals.
  • Experience dealing with and selling to small level to medium sized businesses.
  • Possess a high energy, success-driven attitude, with the proven ability to exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to prospect, add new leads, follow up, and close sales.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven self-starter with strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high focus on detail.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products with the ability to manage accounts in a CRM system (Hubspot).
