Position Summary: The New Orleans Pelicans & Saints are seeking a talented and passionate individual who is committed to becoming a sales leader in the sport industry. The Sales and Retention Account Executive will service and manage a book of business that includes both Pelicans and Saints annual ticketholders.
What you will be doing:
- Meet and/or exceed monthly and yearly sales and service goals
- Provide 1st class, elevated customer service experience to season ticket holders
- Develop relationships with customers in a book of business of 500-700 Pelicans full season ticket holder accounts and Saints Club Season Ticket Holder Accounts via quarterly touchpoints (2-Way Interactions getting something of value and providing something of value to customers)
- Grow a book of business of 500-700 Pelicans full season ticket holder accounts and Club Saints Season Ticket Holder Accounts via upgrading their seats, selling additional seats, obtaining referrals, and capitalizing on suite and group opportunities
- Resolve season ticket holder and fans questions and complaints such as
- Managing Customer Payment Plans
- Attend weekly/monthly Training Sessions
- Manage customer interaction using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Manage available ticket inventory using Seat Geek SRO Ticketing System
- Contribute positively to the organizational culture in working together with peers and leadership team
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
What you'll bring:
- College degree preferred; preferably in business or sports management
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a ticket sales role, with a high level of success
- Experience and success developing and building relationships with a creative consultative approach
- Passion for craft, sales, and sports business
- Stellar work ethic, positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn and develop
- Proven ability to work as a team member
- Self-motivated with a tireless internal motor
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficient computer skills preferred (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). CRM and SRO background is a plus.
- You will need to be at most Pelicans home games as well as many external events throughout the year. This job is not a 9-5 position and candidates should be aware of the time commitment and unique hours that are required to be successful.
