LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a Hospitality/Restaurant Group based in Chicago that is looking to add an IT Manager to their team. This individual will serve as an infrastructure generalist supporting a wide variety of projects, troubleshoot various systems and will be the primary point of contact for vendor communication, management and coordination. This role is a long-term Contract-to-Hire Opportunity, and the expectation is for this person to be able to work on-site in Downtown Chicago (River North) 5 days per week.

IT Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an inventory of technology hardware across properties, assess existing equipment functionality and recommend new purchases while securely disposing of outdated hardware
  • Configure user hardware and workstations, manage software platforms, enforce access control measures and develop security policies while training users on best practices
  • Handle inbound support requests, troubleshoot technologies such as email and Point-of-Sale systems and escalate complex issues to vendors or contractors for resolution
  • Create and update a knowledge base, providing relevant articles to end users and perform additional responsibilities as needed within the role


IT Manager Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred
  • Prior experience in computer or IT support is essential
  • Familiarity with VOIP phones, Cisco Meraki and Point-of-Sale systems, particularly Toast, is a plus
  • Excellent customer service, communication and writing abilities are necessary
  • Must demonstrate a strong aptitude for rapidly learning computer systems and processes
