A leading Medical Device company is seeking a skilled R&D Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in the Minneapolis area. This role is focused on supporting R&D sustaining activities and is ideal for candidates at the Engineer 2 or 3 level. The position requires a strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in R&D sustaining activities to ensure operational line continuity.
- Contribute to design file remediations and submission processes.
- Support the development and maintenance of Class II and Class III medical devices, with a focus on cardiovascular devices.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision, driving projects to completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
- Experience working with Class II and Class III medical devices; cardiovascular device experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in sustaining R&D activities within a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Windchill is preferred.
