  • Create engaging and informative social media content using basic design skills (Canva or Adobe CC)
  • Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments on social media initiatives (e.g., marketing, communications)


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management
  • Proven experience using Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe CC)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in an association or non-profit (a plus)
  • Openness to working onsite 3 days per week in DC
