Our client, a growing Real Estate firm in Midtown, NY, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support their Accounting Team. Responsibilities of this position include managing the team's calendar, assisting with vendor payments, and maintaining the books and records for the firm's investment properties. The ideal candidate will come with 1-3 years of experience in an Administration from a professional office setting, preferably supporting an accounting team. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, QuickBooks is a plus, and an accounting degree is preferred.



Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining books and records of the firm's investment properties
  • Handling various office administration tasks such as fielding incoming phone calls managing the team's calendar
  • Processing vendor invoices, assisting with accounts payable matters, and logging expenses


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in office administration role, preferably supporting an accounting team.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks preferred.
  • Accounting degree is preferred
