- The Staff Accountant will work directly with the Controller and have high visibility with the leadership team.
- A leader in their industry, they offer a collaborative environment where employees are rewarded for their hard work and supported by the leadership.
- This position is open due to outstanding growth
Overview of the Staff Accountant role:
- Post payments for AR and apply payments to customer accounts
- Research overdue accounts and follow up with customers on past due payments
- Research discrepancies for AP and investigate missing information
- Prepare journal entries for month-end close
Preferred Qualifications for a Staff Accountant:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Recent graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Team-oriented - enjoys working with others and communicates when there are questions
Position is completely on site in LaPorte, IN
