Pay Rate: $30 to $47 per hour
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Neurology Research group. This temporary position offers an option for permanent hire based on performance. The role involves administering treatments, processing tissue samples, and conducting data collection and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to scientific research and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based experimental research, including RNA extraction, qPCR, and small rodent surgeries.
- Perform manual and computerized data entry.
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S. degree in Biology or a closely related field.
- Experience with standard molecular biology techniques is strongly preferred.
- Experience in rodent surgery and handling is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
