Job Summary:

Our client in Novi is looking for a CAE Engineer. This is a contract position.


What You Will Do:

  • Perform structural analysis for the advanced steering wheel design (crash analysis, static strength analysis, and fatigue analysis.) following global CAE guidelines and processes.
  • Utilization of CAE tools includes standard FEA (Hyper-mesh, LS-DYNA etc.) & methods to simulate the performance of automotive interior product designs.
  • Evaluating the results and Delivery of analysis reports for product performance to specification including an assessment of component design efficiency will be emphasized.
  • Calibrate and improve simulation results using test data.
  • Assist with physical testing to quantify input loads and data for analysis.
  • Schedule analysis projects as per project plan and requirement.
