Position: Structural Analysis Engineer

Location: Novi, MI

Job Summary

We are in search of a proficient Structural Analysis Engineer to become part of our team in Novi, MI. This position involves developing and executing high voltage Li-Ion battery pack structural simulations aimed at enhancing the design and functionality of automotive battery systems. If you have a passion for renewable energy and a background in structural analysis, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and evaluate structural concepts for battery systems
  • Perform FEA simulations to enhance structural integrity
  • Oversee testing and validation processes for battery components
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to refine battery pack designs
  • Offer technical insights for design improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering
  • At least two years of experience in structural FEA
  • Expertise in CAE software such as Altair HyperWorks, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA3D
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude
  • Familiarity with Battery Electric Vehicles and Li-Ion battery technology is advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
