Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of three (3) to ten (10) mechanical engineers.
  • Plan and execute engineering projects effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison among various departments, divisions, and clients.
  • Ensure project objectives are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Estimate workforce requirements and schedule tasks to align with project timelines and specifications.
  • Contribute to team goals by achieving related outcomes as necessary.
  • Document any modifications to project scope.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.
  • Assist in generating new project opportunities, including estimating new project work.

Required Knowledge:

  • Proficient understanding of the English language, including grammar and composition.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Systems.
  • Experience in Baggage Handling System design and development.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in design and estimation in relevant fields such as robotics, automation, or airport baggage handling systems.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and suppliers.
  • At least five years of supervisory experience managing multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with CAE equipment is essential.

Physical Requirements:

Office: Ability to remain stationary for a significant portion of the time; traverse the office environment; operate office equipment; and communicate effectively.

Job Site: Capability to navigate through industrial settings, including climbing ladders and lifting objects up to 40 lbs.
