Technology Specialist After Hours

The Technology Specialist After Hours provides entry level monitoring and response to technology issues utilizing the company service desk as well as a variety of hardware/software tools and techniques on our 2nd and 3rd shifts. They provide entry level software and systems troubleshooting, support, and training to end users.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible, evening position. Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm to 12:00 am, and some assigned on call weekends required.
Responsibilities Include:
• Works with end users to identify and deliver required technology service levels.
• Receives, prioritizes, and responds to incoming service desk tickets, calls, or e-mails regarding technology issues.
• Performs entry level analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technological problems for a variety of on-site and remote end users. Also recommend and implement corrective solutions.
• Escalates problems to the appropriate IT service groups, or appropriate service desk instances.
• Installs, configures, and tests end user hardware/software installations.
• Performs desktop and laptop image deployment.
• Maintains an inventory of various technology hardware.
• Schedules and performs technology upgrades and repairs.
• Works towards meeting expected service levels and performance metrics.
• Provides weekend on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.
