Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end proof-of-concepts, that incorporate emerging technologies to solve business challenges and enhance user experiences.
  • Work closely with Technical Architects, Senior Engineers and P&C SMEs to define system architecture, API design, and data modelling strategies that align with project goals.
  • Develop front-end interfaces with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and responsiveness, utilizing modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including market analysts and product managers, to understand user needs and market trends, translating them into functional applications.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and programming languages, continuously seeking professional growth and innovation opportunities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and one of the front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Strong experience with back-end development, using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Familiarity with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud-native development practices.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with or strong interest in emerging technologies such as AI/ML, or IoT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in full stack development.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy applications incorporating new and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members across different disciplines and presenting ideas clearly.
  • Experience in the P&C insurance industry is beneficial but not required.
