Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Member Services Coordinator reports directly to the Member Services Supervisor/Director, Member Services & Events. The Member Services Coordinator is responsible for providing EPIC member services, amenities and hospitality to all members and guests, as an Ambassador of The PGA WEST Brand and Century Golf Corporation.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of successful experience in hospitality, concierge front desk, restaurant business management, event planning, member relations, resort sales, catering sales, golf club, private country club membership preferred.

  • 2+ years customer, concierge or member service experience preferred.
  • Special Event planning support experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Teamwork & Group Participation.
  • Member Focus/Member Service Orientation.
  • Interpersonal Skills.
  • Planning & Priority Management.
  • Conflict Management.
  • Effective Communicator.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong communications skills, ability to speak effectively and respectfully before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Extensive software skills and computer knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Adobe and Word as well as Internet Research abilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enthusiastically greet members and guests with a smile and the willingness to provide EPIC service.
  • Anticipate members' and guests' needs and requests by asking how you can assist them.

Member Services Coordinator

Position Description

  • Complete opening and/or closing duties per club standards and procedures.
  • Post & update all event marketing & promotional content located in the club lobby and ladies' digital TV as needed.
  • Efficiently respond to all Member requests and inquires in accordance with Club standards, policies and procedures; uses ideas, feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to Members.
  • Complete member filing daily, weekly, as needed and maintain member file accuracy and security of individual member files.
  • Builds, updates, maintains Event Registration process.
  • Oversees and ensures Member Activation process is completed timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for the Member ID/photo badge process and ensuring members receive their member ID's timely.
  • Assist Members with Members First login issues and update member profile.
  • Provide Epic service to Deferred members: regular Club connections and communications, event registration, Temp cards/Access.
  • Processes Member Activations timely and accurately.
  • Supports Director of Member Services & Events with overall event pre-planning and post-event protocol according to club show-ready standards: clean up, tear down, storage of event items, is complete post-event, in an organized fashion.
  • Serve as event host to make members and guests feel welcome and communicate effectively before groups of people or Team Members.
  • Assist in the creation of flyers, posters, table numbers, drink lists, table tents, and special menus.
  • Assist members with restaurant and special event reservations, recreation requests, floral orders, arranging transportation, etc. and follow through with all reasonable requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Member Services Supervisor or Director of Member Services & Events.
