Induce Biologics is commercializing a family of bioimplants that includes Natural Matrix Protein (NMP™) which replicates the body’s native healing capabilities in order to create natural bone regeneration. The NMP™ proprietary process unlocks the growth factors naturally found in bone, making them bioavailable.


The Director of Information Technology manages and directs the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service. This role will coordinate resources, prioritizing and managing IT projects with direct impact on Induce Biologics enterprise systems, including but not limited to ERP, CRM, and QMS. Provides strategic, end-to-end business processes, operations, and technical guidance for IT solutions.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Establishes enterprise architecture and roadmap, aligning business capabilities with technical capabilities into a clear and comprehensive vision with implementation strategies and delivery roadmap.
  • Assist with HIPAA security to ensure that Induce Biologics complies with the HIPAA Security Rule and protects electronic protected health information (ePHI).
  • Ensures compliance with Government standards related to IT systems (FDA, HIPAA, ISO, etc.)
  • Responsible for the IT investment plan and be accountable for the delivery of IT programs along with production operations to deliver measurable business value by providing secure and compliant technology solutions.
  • Significant experience managing and implementing business applications, integrations, and infrastructure. Specific experience deploying open-source or customized applications.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with assigned business units or functional area leaders for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, storage, disaster recovery, virtual and cloud platform.
  • Ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by technology systems that enable growth and flexibility.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring a secure and productive IT environment while maintaining compliance with company-wide IT standards.
  • Manage network of vendor partners accountable under service-level agreements.
  • Own IT disaster recovery plan in conjunction with the business continuity plan.
  • Manage the procurement of hardware and IT equipment, evaluating vendors and negotiating contracts for cost-effective purchases.
  • Develop onboarding processes for new employees, providing IT orientation and resources to ensure a smooth transition into the IT environment.
  • Provide help desk support for IT-related issues to end-users, resolving basic technical problems and escalating complex issues when necessary.


Education/Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the areas of computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Significant experience managing IT security programs and adhering to common industry security frameworks
  • Proven technology and process expert within Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality with broader medical technology organization knowledge and broad-based IT expertise across related functions
  • Experience working with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP software validated systems
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience with e-commerce and cloud-based applications


Education/Experience Preferred

  • Master's degree in a technical or business-related field
  • Relevant experience with cloud and on-premise platforms.
  • Experience in Project/Program Management in a product development environment
