Overview:

The Business Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role as a liaison between corporate functions and IT, driving initiatives to enhance processes, deliver value, and meet operational needs through technology solutions. This role focuses on partnering with business units to coordinate IT service delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational efficiency. The Business Relationship Manager will lead cross-functional teams throughout the IT service lifecycle, from inception and scoping to implementation, training, and ongoing support. Crucially, they will anticipate evolving needs and technological opportunities to continually enhance business outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with functional leaders to drive modernization efforts in data utilization, enhancing organizational maturity for operational efficiencies and actionable insights.
  • Define and lead key initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders, ensuring clear success metrics and comprehensive plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary IT contact for corporate functions, managing both operational needs and strategic initiatives to deliver exceptional IT services efficiently.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for business value creation through technology, fostering a proactive, partnership-based approach.
  • Lead digital transformation efforts that support the company’s strategic vision and operational priorities.
  • Manage project lifecycles effectively, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery aligned with business priorities.
  • Champion process and technical changes across the organization, acting as a change agent within a matrixed environment.
  • Drive a data-centric culture to enable meaningful insights and operational efficiencies across the business.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute data-driven strategies that support growth and competitiveness.
  • Support regulatory compliance, security standards, and strategic growth initiatives, particularly in Emerging Markets.
  • Develop and present technology proposals and progress reports to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices, utilizing methodologies such as Lean and ITIL to enhance operational effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership roles involving large-scale systems planning, analysis, design, and development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and consensus across diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred; familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, EDI, and MES advantageous.
  • Strong background in leading digital transformations across functional areas.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on results and quality delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and drive clarity and results.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
