The Manager of Project Administration – Data Centers will lead and manage a team responsible for organizing, managing, and planning complex projects related to data center operations, development, and implementation. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within specifications, and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete assigned data center projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline the tasks involved in data center projects and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Conduct cost analysis and estimate expected costs for data center projects.
  • Prepare and implement budgets based on cost estimates.
  • Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors, particularly in the data center sector.
  • Communicate and collaborate with sales, engineering, and IT teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for risk mitigation, including project termination if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices, specifically for data centers.
  • Promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems within the data center space.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business, or Information Technology.
  • At least three years of related experience in project management, particularly within data center environments, is required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
