Role: Optical Metrology Engineer

Location: Redmond WA


Job Description:


The OMAP team is seeking an Optical Metrology Engineer to participate in testing and evaluation of AR optical products.

This team member will work with other CW’s and take direction from seniors to develop and execute specific test plans on a variety of optical testing equipment.


Required Capabilities:

● Bachelor's in engineering and test (or related field) or 4 years equivalent work experience, Optical designs

● Ability to quickly pivot workstreams and re-prioritize test plans

● Perform and/or summarize optical test data with high level analysis

● Work daily in a clean room environment

● Experience with material handling and automated test equipment

● Maintain optical equipment and products with attention to detail to prevent degradation or contamination of optics

● Ability to succinctly document test procedures and results Desired Capabilities:

● Experience with optical testing and analysis

● Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, ready to switch priorities and projects as needed

● Experience working with database upload and management

● Excellent communication
