Overview of the role: Payroll Specialist

  • Processing weekly payroll in UKG software for 600-700 employees
  • Payroll process will be shifting soon to Bi-weekly/semi-monthly.
  • Handling multi-state payroll for Massachusetts, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida
  • Assist with answering phone calls during the work day
  • Accountability with answering daily emails and handling payroll situations for employees.
  • Enter all new hires into UKG software
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and managing data entry

Preferred Qualifications: Payroll Specialist

  • Experience working with UKG software (or UltiPro) is a huge plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Knowledge of senior living industry payroll practices is welcomed
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment, particularly in a small office and hybrid setting.
