Overview of the role: Payroll Specialist
- Processing weekly payroll in UKG software for 600-700 employees
- Payroll process will be shifting soon to Bi-weekly/semi-monthly.
- Handling multi-state payroll for Massachusetts, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida
- Assist with answering phone calls during the work day
- Accountability with answering daily emails and handling payroll situations for employees.
- Enter all new hires into UKG software
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and managing data entry
Preferred Qualifications: Payroll Specialist
- Experience working with UKG software (or UltiPro) is a huge plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of senior living industry payroll practices is welcomed
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment, particularly in a small office and hybrid setting.
