**Position Overview:**

Explore Logistics LLC is seeking motivated and dynamic Freight Agents to join our team. Freight Agents play a critical role in targeting and consulting with companies to facilitate the efficient movement of domestic and international freight. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about logistics and enjoy building relationships with clients.


**Responsibilities:**

- Identify and target potential clients to develop new business opportunities in the transportation and logistics industry.

- Consult with clients to understand their freight shipping needs and recommend appropriate transportation solutions.

- Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of freight.

- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to secure competitive pricing for clients.

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process, including tracking shipments and resolving any issues that may arise.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders in the logistics industry.

- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, pricing, and client interactions using CRM software or other designated systems.


**Requirements:**

- Proven experience (2+ years) in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and carriers.

- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.

- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software for shipment tracking and management.

- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

- Existing book of business or client base in the transportation and logistics industry is required.
