Job Description:

BWT Pharma and Biotech seeks to employ a Project Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of complete turnkey clean utility systems. The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering and a capacity to learn all aspects of the machine/project lifecycle from a multi-disciplined team, including: process/chemical, automation, electrical and mechanical. The primary focus of this role is to work closely with multiple in house engineering departments (i.e. automation, process, mechanical design, etc.) and supporting Project Managers to take the design from inception to fabrication and testing. 


Job Responsibilities include:

•        Provide technical support to the Project Managers

•        Prepare and specify detailed engineering bills of materials

•        Prepare drawings, mark ups and technical specifications

•        Ensure compliance with current pharmaceutical standards such as ASME BPE, GAMP, cGMP, ISPE guidelines

•        Manage project engineering scope per specification and budget

•        Work in accordance to established quality management system

•        Develop/review/maintain/update related documentation, files, procedures, databases, drawings and schematics as part of product development and project execution

•        Coordination and execution of Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment at BWT workshop prior to delivery and in the presence of a customer

•       Creation/issuing of BOM in ERP System


Required Skills and Experience:

•        Minimum 3 years’ experience within process engineering / project management of equipment for clean utilities

•        Experience in mechanical and/or chemical engineering pertaining to pumping systems

•        Experience or knowledge of electrical engineering and automation is a plus

•        AutoCAD experience

•        Good time management and organizational skills

•        Knowledge of pharmaceutical validation and GAMP experience would be a key advantage


Qualifications:

•        BS/MS or equivalent in Process engineering, Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent

•        Authorized to work in the U.S.
