We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Washington, DC-based team. This role will involve working closely with senior bankers to assist our clients in a range of M&A and Strategic Advisory services which include:

 

  • Maintain client and transaction databases
  • Participate in all stages of transaction execution, coordinating transaction processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling, including the valuation of companies using a variety of methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other client materials, demonstrating a clear understanding of the client’s sector
  • Conduct comprehensive industry research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for the firm’s clients


Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development or Transaction Advisory-related services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science or related field
  • Strong quantitative and technical skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas succinctly
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and a commitment to developing a career in investment banking
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail
