The Intersect Group is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a solid background in administration who wants to move into an engineering role. This person should have a good grasp of Windows, O365, and PowerShell, and have some hands-on experience with them. This position is perfect for a self-starter who can work independently and is keen to enhance their technical skills in a dynamic setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition from an administrative role to an engineering position, leveraging previous experience to manage and optimize systems.
  • Administer and manage Windows-based systems and services.
  • Implement and manage O365 solutions to enhance organizational productivity.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure.
  • Contribute to building out the organization's security stance and implementing new tools to support heavy growth.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT administration or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with O365.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
