We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee safety protocols across our projects. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a safety manager, coordinator, or trainer is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in safety management.
  • Candidates must exhibit strong leadership skills, enabling them to effectively train and mentor others within the team.
  • A comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations is essential, ensuring compliance with safety standards and guidelines.
  • The ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey safety information clearly and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Candidates should be prepared for travel, with the ability to spend up to 25-50% of their time supporting the Chicago office.
  • Possession of OSHA 30 certification is required, and OSHA 500 is preferred, showcasing a commitment to professional development and expertise in safety protocol.
  • CSST Certification preferred
  • English/Spanish bilingual is considered a plus, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate and engage with a diverse workforce.
