Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Director of Corporate Giving. The Director of Corporate Giving will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's corporate giving program primarily with Texas-based companies. This includes planning and implementing fundraising campaigns, developing relationships with corporate partners, managing sponsorship program, and budgeting for corporate giving initiatives. The Director of Corporate Giving will primarily be located in Houston, TX, but will have flexibility for some remote work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for corporate giving, philanthropy, and corporate grant programs to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with corporate donors and sponsors across Texas.
  • Prepare and effectively present compelling pitches and strategic plans to potential corporate partners.
  • Effectively and dynamically represent EFTX to the business community and leaders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create sponsorship packages and promotional materials that align with corporate partners’ goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate donors, ensuring they are engaged, and their contributions are recognized.
  • Stay informed about innovations, trends and developments in corporate giving, philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising.
  • Prepare and provide regular activity reports and status updates on corporate giving progress and effectiveness for senior management and the board of directors.


Experience Required

  • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or business development, ideally within a non-profit or charitable environment.
  • Experience in ad sales, agency representation, or enterprise sales is highly beneficial.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining corporate partnerships and securing significant funding.
  • Knowledge of and existing relationships with Texas corporate communities.
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present strategic and operational plans to diverse stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups.
