Job Summary:


The Tire Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the category strategy to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share. This role involves managing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the tire category meets customer needs and company objectives.

Responsibilities:


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales, margin, and inventory targets.

• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of terms, pricing, and contracts.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform category decisions.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.

• Work closely with the sales team to provide product training and support.

• Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals.

• Conduct regular reviews of product assortment, pricing, and merchandising to ensure competitiveness.

• Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.

• Prepare and present category performance reports to senior management.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in category management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in the automotive or tire industry.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in using category management software and tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
