Business Development RepresentativeWe're seeking a motivated Business Development Representative who thrives on building relationships and uncovering new opportunities. In this role, you'll play a key part in expanding our client base within the fulfillment and warehouse management sector, delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of e-commerce, retail, and B2B clients. Join our dynamic Sales team and help drive growth at Jay GroupResponsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities in e-commerce, retail, and B2B fulfillment sectors.Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract clients needing warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment services.Conduct needs assessments and present tailored solutions including storage, pick-pack-ship, and inventory management.Collaborate with operations and client services teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms in alignment with company goals.Maintain a robust pipeline and report regularly on acquisition metrics and forecasts.Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote services.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field.1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, 3PL services, and supply chain workflows.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce).Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and order management tools.Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze client needs and operational capacity.Knowledge of freight, parcel, and last-mile delivery options.About Jay Group:Jay Group is an industry-leading provider of warehouse inventory management, ecommerce fulfillment, transportation, and specialty packaging services.
