EdgeUP Technology is hiring a Business Development Representative to hunt high-net-worth prospects building custom homes in Chester County, Lancaster County, and the Main Line.
THE ROLE
You'll identify homeowners early in their $1.2M+ home build (before they've locked in their trades), get them excited about pre-construction smart home integration, and bring them to our Lancaster Design Center where they experience luxury automation firsthand.
Then you hand off qualified opportunities to our sales team who close $20K-$350K projects.
This is NOT a desk job. You'll:
→ Research construction permits and new luxury lot sales
→ Drive to active job sites and meet builders, architects, designers
→ Make 50-80 targeted calls daily to affluent prospects
→ Schedule Design Center appointments
→ Work from home some days, field-based others (~120 mi/week)
WHAT YOU'LL EARN
• Base: $35K-$45K
• Performance bonuses: $15K-$25K annually
• First-year realistic total: $50K-$70K+
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rates
• Fast track to Outside Sales Executive ($150K-$300K+)
YOU'RE A FIT IF:
• You have 1-3 years of B2B/B2C sales or appointment setting experience
• You're a HUNTER—prospecting energizes you, rejection doesn't faze you
• You're comfortable talking to successful people (executives, business owners, luxury homeowners)
• You live in or near Chester County and know the territory
• You have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• You're self-directed but coachable
YOU'RE NOT A FIT IF:
• You want inbound leads handed to you (this is outbound hunting)
• You need a desk job (field work required)
• You're uncomfortable with affluent prospects
• You live far from Chester County and won't relocate
