About

Our client, a leading Global Energy research and consultancy group are looking for a passionate leader to head up their Gas & LNG consulting practice in the Americas. You will be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team, driving client growth, and delivering top-tier consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and develop a team of consultants, including senior business developers, subject matter experts, project managers, and junior staff.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and build Gas & LNG content knowledge within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Business Development & Growth:

  • Develop and implement client and business development plans for Gas & LNG across the Americas.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships within the industry.
  • Drive proposal efforts and secure new consulting engagements.

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Lead client projects, ensuring high-quality, insightful results that support strategic decision-making.
  • Own team financial performance and pipeline management.
  • Oversee project delivery standards, guaranteeing on-time, on-budget completion.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Gas & LNG offerings.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities in the Americas, feeding insights into global discussions.
  • Partner with colleagues across the Gas & LNG sub-segment (Research, Sales) to deliver cohesive collaboration and build the Gas & LNG business.
  • Leverage best practices and contribute them from the Americas region.
  • Work with counterparts across regions for cross-border business development and project execution.

About You

  • Passionate about leading and developing teams, with a proven track record of nurturing diverse talents.
  • Intellectually curious with superior analytical skills, able to clearly define and articulate complex issues.
  • Structured approach with a collaborative and communicative style.
  • Strong understanding of client needs and the Gas & LNG value chain, including business models and strategies across company types.
  • Well-established client network and experience in relationship building.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering strategic insights to senior management and potentially at industry conferences.
  • Consulting experience with a strong grasp of project management processes is a plus.
