Mitchell - Handschuh Law Group is a boutique transportation and commercial litigation law firm in Buckhead, GA seeking a full-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate is well-organized, detail-oriented, curious, and is willing to exercise initiative. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will carry out a wide range of activities and must be flexible and able to effectively prioritize tasks.


General responsibilities include acting in a support role to attorney-supervised legal tasks, as well as general office management duties, including office supply management, answering phones, filing, and mail processing.

We are looking for someone with 1 - 3 years of related experience. Law firm experience is preferable, but not required. Microsoft Excel experience and excellent general computer skills are a must. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant should also have outstanding oral and written communications skills, superior typing and word processing skills, and the ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant must be able to operate both as a positive team player and as an independent worker with steady concentration and perseverance in a fast-paced employment field. A proven track record of dependability, dedication, and confidential handling of all matters and producing outstanding work-product is a must.


The minimum education required is an Associate’s Degree, but a Paralegal Certificate program, or willingness to become certified, is preferred. This position offers a competitive Salary based on experience plus benefits.
