Senior Financial Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making, including variance analysis, trend identification, and scenario planning.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasts and budgets. Monitor performance against plans and provide insights into variances.
  • Data Management: Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets from various sources. Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management. Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Operations, and Marketing, to gather relevant data and support financial planning efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to support various business needs.


Senior Financial Analyst Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of finance experience.
  • Advanced user of MS office suite, in particular Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
