Key responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly updating and auditing the staff compensation master files
  • Performing monthly balancing of staff-related accounts
  • Preparing journal entries and conducting various financial transactions
  • Calculating monthly, quarterly, and annual staff incentives and distributions
  • Calculating annual profit sharing contributions for staff
  • Preparing member departure reports and forming annual budgets for staff compensation
  • Reviewing and summarizing letter agreements for staff
  • Summarizing annual statistical information for staff performance reviews
  • Calculating annual staff fringe benefit chargeback
  • Preparing semi-annual staff interest computations on capital and notes payable payments with interest
  • Compiling year-end compensation packages for each staff
  • Assisting management and team leadership in ad hoc reporting and other projects as required.

Key requirements for the role:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of related experience in professional services or public accounting setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical proficiency with business and accounting software applications
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to transfer technical knowledge
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
